Communication; ability to pull key concepts from design to visualization, ability to operate at various levels of detail /customize level of detail depending on time constraints, budget, or audience. Ultimately, effective visuals help sell projects.

F13 has a solid client base and reputation and I hope to bring new clients as well as show current clients how our services can improve their project outcomes.
What experience do you have that makes you a good fit for your new role?
I’m an experienced architectural illustrator who understands the development process – from concept to design to construction. I started out in this business as a draftsman. From there I became interested in rendering and studied fine arts at The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). My roles have included artist as well as managing production and client interface and sales. Working in various roles has given me a strong ability to understand client’s vision and find feasible, cost-effective solutions. I’m able to view projects through a practical lens taking into account client needs, business constraints and effective presentation.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy sculpture, fitness, being outdoors / hiking / watersports. I love music and craft cocktails.I like to take advantage of DC’s vibrant neighborhood offerings – from Hillyer Gallery and coffee shops in West End, to great food at Union Market, and live performances at the Kennedy Center.
What is your favorite place to travel?
I love beaches and water, the Caribbean, especially St. Martin.
You were born and raised in Washington, DC and have lived locally all your life. Why do you love it so much?
DC is a city of neighborhoods each with a unique vibe (community) – it has the best of small town and big city. As a former fine art student, I love the galleries and museums. DC is well planned and values historic preservation, green space and balances that with progressive development, state-of- the-art design / architecture. It’s great to see DC develop/ evolve over time.
