Originally, he utilized mediums such as pen and ink, pencil, and watercolor to create traditional illustrations for his clients. Technology evolved quickly and Secrist recognized the evolution of 3D computer technology as the way of the future; he jumped on board. Secrist found a rapid increase in the demand for his work as his artistic mind and eye, artistic talent, and relentless drive for detail created an incomparable finished product.
As of March 2012, Secrist officially opened the doors to F13 Design Studio where he and his team are more successful than ever creating architectural renderings, animations, and Virtual Reality experiences for developers, architects, interior designers, and home builders as well as advising architects on design solutions and facilitating conceptualization. F13 is commonly retained for a wide range of university, retail/entertainment, corporate, mixed-use, single/multi-family, hotel, and urban development projects.
